The main Goulburn Court entrance is open by 9:00 A.M., and courtrooms start hearing cases at 9:30 A.M. There are plenty of ways you can get to the court. You can come by car, and park in one of the many spaces available near the court.
If you are coming from out of town, It is also possible to commute; regular train and bus services run between Goulburn and Sydney. The Goulburn train station is only about 450 metres away, a brief walk from the Goulburn Courthouse. You can also take the bus, as there is a bus stop next to the train station.

The local court is the first tier in the NSW state court hierarchy. There are no juries in local court proceedings, and the overwhelming number of criminal matters occur at this level. The police prosecutor or DPP in certain cases represents the Queen, while a criminal lawyer represents you.
